New routes as of Monday

Attention travelers! New bus routes went into effect Monday.

We apologize for the delay in printing the updated Cortland Transit maps, in the meantime please refer to these images for the new 2, 3 and 4 routes.

Routes 1-4 now run every 45 minutes, departing the County Office Building at 6 a.m., 6:45 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 12 noon, 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:15 p.m.

Please estimate your arrival at your destination within the confines of that 45-minute time-frame.

The new Route 2 goes past the Friendship House, Big Lots shopping plaza, Luker Road and the stretch of 281 serving auto dealerships and the back entrance to SUNY Cortland.

The new Route 3 serves the stretch of Route 281 between Madison St and Copeland Ave.

The new Route 4 swings out to the Big Lots shopping plaza, a frequently requested deviation.
